LAHORE: (Thursday, May 02, 2024): A two member delegation including Dr Rebecca Roberts, Project Coordinator, Mapping Archaeological Heritage in South Asia and Miss Afifa Khan, Research Assistant, Mcdonald Institute of Archaeology, University of Cambridge called on PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood at his office here on Thursday. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Arts and Humanities Prof Dr Amra Raza, Chairman Department of Archaeology Dr Muhammad Hameed, External Linkages Director Dr Sobia Khurram and others were present. Addressing the meeting, PU VC Dr Khalid Mahmood stressed the need to enhance collaborations among the universities of the two countries. The UK’s delegation also called upon the need to promote teachers and students exchange programs, organize joint seminars and conferences and provide scholarship opportunities.
